myPinURL Server Requirements  

Only the most basic hosting packages can't run our script. myPinURL is designed to work on the following minimal server configuration:


  • Almost any UNIX/Linux OS (Linux, CentOS, FreeBSD, etc)
  • Apache web server (1.3 or higher)
  • Perl (5.6 or higher)
  • MySQL Server (4.0 or higher)

Although myPinURL could work even with MySQL 3.23, I strongly recommend 4.0 or later for performance reason.

If you are not sure if your server meets these requirements, just download and try to install it on your server. Installer will check your server configuration and tell you if myPinURL can be installed there. Installation is very simple, I bet even my cat could install it. ;)
