Redirect Methods
Every campaign you create can use four different types of redirect. Direct - when visitor clicks the campaign link, she will be redirected to the destination URL and that URL will be shown in the browser's address bar. In other words, this redirect type works like standard hyperlink. Masked - when visitor clicks the campaign link, she will be redirected to the destination URL, but campaign URL will keep in the browser's address bar and visitor will not see the destination URL that she was redirected to. Stealth - when visitor clicks the campaign link, she will be redirected to the destination URL, but no referer will be sent, so the owner of the destination URL will never know where visitor came from. Landing - this option allow you to create landing page instead of just a redirect link. Now you can have all your landing pages controlled from one place, with detailed statistics that allow you even see which keywords more productive.
Multiple Directories
Unlike any other link cloaking software, myPinURL allows you to create as many directories for your campaigns as you want. Now you are not limited to single directory that you set during script installation. For example, you can create directories "recommends", "details", "free" and have your links look like: http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/plasma_tv http://www.yourdomain.com/details/plasma_tv http://www.yourdomain.com/free/plasma_tv You can even create a campaign link without directory at all. In other words, it will be in the root directory of your domain. For example: http://www.yourdomain.com/plasma_tv http://www.yourdomain.com/make_money.html http://www.yourdomain.com/click-here-now.htm Actually there will be no any directory or webpage created physically on your server. Everything is done virtually, but to your visitors it looks like you have real pages! :)
http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/plasma_tv http://www.yourdomain.com/details/plasma_tv http://www.yourdomain.com/free/plasma_tv
http://www.yourdomain.com/plasma_tv http://www.yourdomain.com/make_money.html http://www.yourdomain.com/click-here-now.htm
Link Categories
This is a very useful feature if you have a lot of campaigns. You can create as many categories as you need and categorize your links by any criterias you want. For example, you create a category "AdWords Campaigns" and move all your AdWords links into that category. Now if you need to list AdWords links only, you just click on this category name (or choose it in the search box) and you will see the list of your AdWords campaigns only. I added this feature for your convenience only, it will not affect anything outside of the myPinURL admin panel and it will not change the way your campaigns works.
Campaign Link Format
myPinURL allows you to have many different campaign link formats. I didn't hardcoded them specially to let you replace the links you already have with the new URLs generated by myPinURL. Lets take the following link as an example: http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new_plasma_tv "recommends" is a directory name - we will ignore it in this example. "new_plasma_tv" is a campaign name (or alias) that you enter when creating the new campaign. You must enter it without dashes or underscores - use space instead. As you can see in myPinURL demo, in the "Options -> Default Settings" section you will be offered to choose default link format. There are four options that let you have your campaign links look like: http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new-plasma-tv http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new_plasma_tv http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new-plasma-tv.html http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new_plasma_tv.html Although there is only four options, you are NOT limited to them. You can give the link to your visitors in any of the following possible formats: http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new-plasma_tv http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new_plasma-tv http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new-plasma-tv.shtml http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new-plasma_tv?somepar=anyval http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new-plasma-tv.shtml?somepar=anyval http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new_plasma_tv.htm http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/New_Plasma_TV.htm http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/nEw-pLaSmA-tV.htm http://www.yourdomain.com/recommends/new_plasma-tv/ and so on... All of the above links are the same. In other words, the only important part is having your campaign name in it. This way you will be able to replace any of your existing redirect links with URLs generated by myPinURL and start collecting detailed stats of each of them.

Keyword Tracking
myPinURL have powerful algorithm that detects from which search engine each visitor come and which keyword he used to find your campaign link. myPinURL can detect all major search engines - Google, Yahoo, AOL, AllTheWeb, ASK.com, Froogle, HotBot, Lycos, MyWebSearch, MSN, Live.com, Netscape, and more. Over 250 SEs in total. You are able to see how many visitors each search engine send to every campaign link. You will see which keywords make you more sales (or other desired action). You can customize your landing page by adding special tags that will be replaced on the fly with keyword that visitor used to find your page. myPinURL dynamically inserts the keyword into any places of your landing page.
CTR and CR Tracking
Depending on where you place the tracking code, it will calculate CTR (click-through rate) or CR (conversion rate). CTR is short for click-through rate, the ratio of the number of times a user clicks on an online advertisement per number of viewers who view the Web site containing the ad. For example, if 20 out of 1000 people who visit a specific website, click on an advertisement and are taken to the advertiser's site, then the CTR of that advertisement is 2%. CR is short for conversion rate, the percentage of visitors who take a desired action. For example, if 20 out of 1000 people who visit a specific website order some product, then the CR of that product is 2%. All redirect methods have ability to track CTR/CR by using special tracking link or tracking tag, depending on what you need to track. Also, there is a powerful algorithm that prevents from counting the same visitor multiple times, so you may be sure that your statistic reports will show unique visitors only.
